LABOR MEDICINE

EVA MEDICAL is a multifunctional diagnostic and medical assistance institution, fully integrated into the existing health insurance system in Romania and having as its main purpose the fulfillment of medical assistance requirements at the highest technical and professional standards.

EVA MEDICAL carries out a sustained activity, concretized in the treatment of patients. The health services provided by EVA Medical cover all medical services, including consultations, investigations and treatments.

EVA MEDICAL has 2 medical centers in Bucharest and, in the most important cities in the country, collaborates with local partners so that services can be supported at national level.

EVA MEDICAL has a renowned medical team, made up of well-known doctors and professors, as well as the availability of high-performance medical equipment, ensures a quick and accurate diagnosis, an assessment of the state of health and an optimal treatment in the shortest possible time.

OFFER OF OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE MEDICAL SERVICES

In accordance with the legislation in force, Government Decision 355/2007, EVA Medical carries out specific investigations in Occupational Medicine, through polyclinics and laboratories in Bucharest and throughout the country.

The partnership that EVA Medical concludes with each beneficiary company in professional risk management leads to:

  • reducing the incidence of work accidents
  • reducing the costs resulting from work accidents
  • maintaining employee productivity
  • reducing medical absenteeism

The Occupational Medicine medical structures, and implicitly the Occupational Medicine doctor, will have the following responsibilities regarding identification and assessment of injury risk factors and occupational diseases, from workplaces of the Employer:

Contribution

Contribution to the risk assessment regarding occupational diseases, which will be carried out by the presence of the Occupational Medicine doctor at the Employer’s workplaces;

Monitoring

Monitoring health status of employees through: Medical examination upon employment, Medical examination upon adaptation, Periodic medical check-up and Medical examination upon resumption of activity;

Guidance

Guidance the activity of professional rehabilitation, reconversion and professional reorientation, in case of work accidents;

Communicate

Communicate the existence of the risk of occupational disease, to all the factors involved in the work process.

Counseling the Employer

Counseling the Employer regarding the adaptation of work and the workplace to the psychophysiological characteristics of employees.

The Occupational Medicine doctor will present to the Occupational Safety and Health Committee, convened at the initiative of the Employer, rapoarte written regarding the health status of employees in relation to working conditions and occupational risks.

Ensuring productivity flows through moving mobile teams to Beneficiary’s headquarters, teams made up of specialist doctors and nurses, equipped with the necessary equipment to carry out investigations according to the exposure factors to occupational risks.

The Employer’s costs regarding the obligation to perform Occupational Medicine medical services are deductible, according to the legislation in force.

EVA Medical has national network in the field of Occupational Medicine, ensuring medical services throughout the country, both through EVA’s own centers and through partner medical centers.

Assessment of risk factors of accidents and occupational diseases will be carried out in the shortest possible time (less than 30 days) by the Occupational Medicine doctor, through his presence at the Employer’s workplaces and the preparation of a complete and compact Report on the working conditions and the risk factors involved.
